I got a Special Bonus for this one. If you don't know what an SB is, you'll see it at the end ;p I think it's safe to say this will be my one and only SB for the game -- oh all right, then, Mission 8 and Mission 13 should be guaranteed SBs as well.
Not too much to say about this mission - I performed solidly enough, if not brilliantly. I got all the hidden red orbs in the mission, and killed 3 of the Fetishes in the rusty key area with 'Stylish' combo rankings - essential, if you want to guarantee meeting the 400 red orb requirement for Mission 1. Down in the basement, I 'borrowed' McCoy's method of slash-cancelling the puppets, because, quite simply, nothing kills them faster. I slightly messed up at the end, which was a shame, because it gave me less time for dealing with the 2nd wave - honestly, I shouldn't have had to stand there firing at that fucking DTed Bloody Mari forever :p
Mission 1Yeah, this ain't exactly as good as my Mission 1 video, to put it mildly :-/ The fountain room proved annoying as hell. I won't go into how much I hate Blades equipped with only the Force Edge - you'll see why in later missions, I guess :-/ At any rate, for this run, I drew Sin Scythes. They were annoying bastards as well, with their constant scythe attacks, and no easy way of stunning them. That part went okay, though. It was the Sin Scissors at the end I did really badly against. Apologies for such crappiness. In an earlier run, I did much better, getting three critical hits much more quickly. But I was stupid enough to not finish recording that run; don't ask me why :-/
